The future of Swine Farming
Central Exhaust.
Mastering the multi-storey environment.
A paradigm shift in agricultural engineering. Unified emission treatment and superior environmental control, engineered for the highest standards of biosecurity.
The Catalyst
The rise of multi-storey swine farms in China.
Before the outbreak of ASF in 2019, multi-storey swine buildings were rarely considered. Post-outbreak, with a national capacity gap of 30%-40% and prices surging above ¥40/kg, the industry entered a phase of unprecedented expansion.
However, stringent environmental protection policies and breeding ban areas made traditional plane expansion impossible. The solution? Building upwards. In December 2019, governmental authorities officially recognized facility agricultural land for multi-storey buildings, igniting the construction pace.
Architectural Evolution
Ventilation design,
reimagined.
From 2019 to 2021, the boom introduced various ventilation designs without a uniform standard. Two primary modes defined the era.
Single Layer Tunnel
Multi-storey building stacked by single layer pig houses. Each layer utilizes tunnel ventilation individually, mirroring traditional flat-farm designs.
Central Exhaust System
Utilizing tunnel ventilation driven by a central exhaust network. This architecture allows for unified deodorization, superior biosecurity management, and precise atmospheric control.
Seasonal Intelligence
Adapting to
the extremes.
The Central Exhaust System dynamically shifts its airflow geometry to combat extreme seasonal variations, ensuring optimal thermal comfort and air quality.
Engineering Note
Select HP fans according to different ventilation modes and calculated static pressures of the building.
